Have you heard of the ‘Too Good To Go’ app? Highfield Preserves is a member of the app. It is a great resource for businesses to sell their surplus stock at a reduced rate.
We list our surplus jam, chutney and marmalade for local app users to purchase. They can buy the stock on the app and pop along to pick it up on an agreed day/ time. Surplus stock could include products that we have recently discontinued, seasonal or bespoke products no longer required or stock that has the wrong style of jar, or incorrect lid colour. Rather than this stock go to waste, we send it for sale on the app at a reduced rate. Products are always of excellent quality and well within their Best Before End dates.
It is a flexible and fast way to help fight food waste. We recoup some of our costs, meet new customers and help the planet! Its a win-win-win! ‘Too Good to Go’ helps us put our surplus stock straight into the hands of happy customers, instead of the bin.
